Privacy policy
The short version: WordSnap has no accounts and doesn't collect your name, email, contacts, location or any identifier that points to you. Your progress lives on your device. The game sends a few anonymous numbers about how hard each puzzle was, so I can make puzzles fairer.
What stays on your device
Your progress, Film and Keys, rank, settings, and downloaded puzzles are stored locally on your phone. Deleting the app deletes them. I can't see them.

Like any website, the server that hosts the puzzles (Railway) briefly processes your IP address to deliver them. I don't store IP addresses alongside gameplay stats and don't use them to identify anyone.
What I don't do
- No advertising or tracking SDKs, no advertising ID.
- No selling or sharing data. There's nothing personal to sell.
- No account, login, or social features.
If ads or in-app purchases are added in a future version, purchases are handled entirely by Apple or Google, and this policy will be updated before that version ships, with the changes described here.
Children
WordSnap is a family-friendly word puzzle. It does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13 (or the equivalent age in your country).
Photos
Puzzle photos come from Pixabay and Pexels contributors under their free licenses. Photographer credits are in the app under Settings → Photo credits. If you're a photographer and want a photo removed, email me and it's gone.
Your choices
You can erase everything on your device with Settings → Reset progress, or by deleting the app. Because the stats are anonymous, there's nothing on the server that can be tied back to you, but you're welcome to ask questions.
